Seeking candidates with expertise in Integrated Design with an interest in shaping architectural curriculum and pedagogy. The ideal candidate will have the ability to support our curriculum in advanced fabrication and emerging construction technologies as well as understand that the future of our built environment and construction techniques address the rapid effects of climate change on the future of architecture and cities.

The Department of Digital Arts, which has been educating digital artists for over 30 years, is growing an exciting new BFA program in Game Arts. Working closely with the chair and fellow faculty members, the successful candidate will help shape the curriculum and grow the program over the next several years.
Assistant/Associate Professor, Graduate Communications Design
We seek applicants with demonstrated ability to teach across a wide range of courses while engaging current and emerging platforms, skills and literacies in communication design practice. The preferred candidates’ pedagogy, creative/professional practice and/or research will engage critical perspectives on communications design, including issues surrounding creative research methods, decolonial praxis in design, sustainability, technological advancement, and equity and inclusion.
Assistant Professor, Mathematics
Seeking a candidate with a distinguished background in both mathematics teaching and a strong body of public-facing work in the realms of mathematical-art, mathematical modeling, civic data analysis and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring educator and an innovative creator, experienced in merging mathematical concepts with creative and sustainable art and design, expression, and practice.
User Experience & Web Services Librarian
This role researches, assesses and develops innovative and fully accessible online tools and platforms that support the Libraries’ efforts in research support, resource discovery, information literacy instruction, and campus outreach. The ideal candidate approaches web design, research, and learning technologies from a forward-looking perspective, tailoring effective solutions that address the unique and evolving research needs of Pratt’s diverse and creative community.
Critical Inclusive Pedagogy Librarian
This role will support Pratt’s faculty as they diversify and decolonize their curricula and will guide the library in aligning its own inclusive pedagogical approaches within a critical librarianship framework. This position is part of a larger focus, within Pratt Institute Libraries and the Pratt Institute as a whole, on diversity, equity, accessibility, civic engagement, social justice, and wellness.
